Start of the summer schedule at Schiphol

This summer, as always, the flights from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol offer numerous options for beautiful European or intercontinental destinations.

The 2018 summer schedule started on Sunday 25 March. This summer, we are welcoming a new airline to our airport: Air Mauritius. Furthermore, the destinations of Orlando International (United States), Växjö (Sweden), Fortaleza (Brazil), Alghero (Italy) and Zadar (Croatia) are new additions to the flight schedules.

The summer schedule will end on Saturday 25 October 2018. Changes may be implemented over the course of the summer, due to the dynamic environment in which the aviation industry operates.

New airline at Schiphol

This is the first time Air Mauritius is connecting the Netherlands to the tropical island of Mauritius. On 26 March, the airline started operating two flight services a week, with intentions to add a third flight in summer. During the winter period, this route was flown by KLM.

New destinations for Schiphol

On 31 March, Delta Air Lines will start operating flight services between Orlando International and

Amsterdam. This route will be flown daily.

KLM has started operating daily flights to and from Växjö, known as the cradle to a famous Swedish furniture company. Växjö was previously not yet a part of Schiphol's route network.

KLM's second new destination is Fortaleza, in the Northeast of Brazil. This route will be flown three times a week.

Corendon Dutch Airlines will be operating three flight services to and from Alghero this summer.
