Appointments to Royal Schiphol Group Management Team

As announced at the presentation of the interim figures, Schiphol will be implementing a reorganisation as a result of the coronavirus crisis. This reorganisation will allow Schiphol to face the future as an efficient and robust organisation.

The first phase of the reorganisation consists of changes to the senior management structure and organisational structure. This will lead to the merger of a number of business areas and departments as of 1 October 2020. As a result, the number of management positions at Royal Schiphol Group has been reduced by almost a quarter. The second phase - from 1 October onwards - will be devoted to further shaping the new organisation.

The new departments created on 1 October will be headed by:

  • Finance: Henry van der Geest
  • IT & Data: Sjoerd Blüm
  • Schiphol Commercial: Jan Willem Weissink
  • Strategy & Airport Planning: Richard Emmerink
