CEO Jos Nijhuis reappointed for four years as from 1 January 2013

Jos Nijhuis has been reappointed CEO of Schiphol Group. Mr Nijhuis’ new term of appointment, for the duration of four years, will commence on 1 January 2013. This decision was announced today by the Schiphol Group Supervisory Board.

‘The organisation has become more decisive and efficient under the leadership of Jos Nijhuis,’ says Mr A. Ruys, Chairman of the Supervisory Board. ’He has contributed to our success in establishing Amsterdam Airport Schiphol as “Europe’s Preferred Airport” and in further strengthening its competitive position internationally. In addition, important steps have been made in improving the quality of the airport experience. The operational processes for airlines have improved strongly. Mr Nijhuis has achieved these results under difficult circumstances and we are looking forward to a new period in which he will be able to continue expanding on his prior achievements.’
