Growing range of catering concepts that contribute to a healthy and conscious lifestyle

At Schiphol Plaza passengers can now also visit Eggs&Co, the Health Food Wall and Yoghurt Barn

Following the opening of De Verspillingsfabriek in February this year, Schiphol Plaza is now hosting three new catering concepts that focus on healthy and conscious diets. The new businesses opening is a response to the growing demand for healthy 'to go' products that are available at all hours.

With the arrival of Yoghurt Barn, the Health Food Wall and Eggs&Co, Schiphol Plaza is home to a growing range of catering outlets with a focus on a healthy and conscious lifestyle.

The desire for products which are easy and quick has always been substantial. However, we have noticed an increasing demand among our passengers for healthy "to go" products which are high-quality. The new catering concepts embodied by De Verspillingsfabriek, the Yoghurt Barn, the Health Food Wall and Eggs&Co are an excellent response to this demand. We have expanded the range of choice with them and hope that this will prove a positive contribution to the passenger experience at Schiphol.
Irene Muysson, Head of Retail, F&B, Commercial Services at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol

Yoghurt Barn offers passengers products such as organic yoghurt with a choice of toppings throughout the day. Yoghurt Barn is located in Arrivals Hall 1 and is open from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m.

The Health Food Wall is a concept where visitors can purchase vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free dishes 24/7, sold from vending machines. There are six different seasonal meals on offer. The vending machine offers passengers the opportunity to select a healthy meal quickly and easily. The vending machine wall is located in Schiphol Plaza along the windows.

Eggs&Co is a concept developed by Vermaat Airport Exploitaties, serving dishes which are all prepared with either eggs or poultry. Whatever you choose, each dish has been prepared with an eye to humans, animals and the environment. The catering outlet uses sustainable ingredients in particular, with all dishes freshly prepared in the Eggs&Co kitchen. Eggs&Co is located near the train station and is open daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
