Jabine van der Meijs to decline reappointment

Jabine van der Meijs (CFO and Management Board member) has announced that she will be declining a second four-year term as a director of Royal Schiphol Group. Her first term ends on 1 April 2021.

Jabine van der Meijs: “This was not an easy decision, because Schiphol is a great organisation with wonderful colleagues. However, I have decided that, after four inspiring years at Schiphol, I want to focus on new challenges. I am therefore declining reappointment. I will of course remain fully committed to Schiphol over the coming months.”

Dick Benschop, on behalf of the Schiphol Group senior management board: “I am sorry that Jabine is leaving Schiphol. We have greatly enjoyed working together. She has made an important contribution to our company’s financial development. Finance, procurement and risk management have been taken to the next level and she has successfully led our international activities.”

Supervisory Board Chairman, Louise Gunning-Schepers: “We respect Jabine’s decision to decline reappointment. The Supervisory Board appreciates the important contribution Jabine has made, especially in the difficult period our sector is in. We, the Supervisory Board, will soon be starting the procedure to find a successor.”
