Job fair at Schiphol to recruit more staff
A job fair is being held at Schiphol on Saturday 2 April, where potential employees can find out more about the vacancies at the airport. The job fair is a collaboration between Airport Community Schiphol (LCS), UWV, WSP Greater Amsterdam, RWC Greater Amsterdam, MBO College Airport and Royal Schiphol Group.
We want to show people how great it is to work in aviation and how much variety there is in positions at Schiphol. Schiphol is made for people, by people. Everyone works together to create an enjoyable passenger experience
The demand for personnel is currently high as a result of the tight labour market. This job fair gives companies at Schiphol an extra opportunity to fill their vacancies..
Variety of employers
Twenty-four companies have announced that they will be at the fair. Some of them even have their contracts ready. There are vacancies for different levels — from no formal education to MBO 4 (the highest level of senior secondary vocational education) — in (flight) handling & logistics, security, cleaning and catering. Positions include ground steward, passenger assistant, apron worker, baggage worker, catering worker, logistics employee/coordinator, forklift driver, bus driver, (aspiring) airport security guard, cleaner, (assistant) team leader and flight preparation employee.
The job fair is aimed at people in employment, jobseekers and former students of MBO schools in the Randstad area, but ultimately anyone who can and wants to work is welcome at Schiphol, including people with a distance to the labour market.

To ensure that everyone has enough time, interested parties should register for a time slot between 10:00 and 15:00 by no later than 31 March via this link.
