Kjell Kloosterziel Appointed New Director of Strategy & Airport Planning
Kjell Kloosterziel has been appointed as the new Director of Strategy & Airport Planning at Royal Schiphol Group. He succeeds Richard Emmerink, who stepped down in November. In addition to his new role, Kjell will continue as the Director of Schiphol International.

Kjell has over twenty years of experience working at and for airports. Since 2019, he has been part of Schiphol as the Director of Schiphol International. Schiphol International is responsible for strengthening collaboration among all airports within the Royal Schiphol Group. Additionally, it explores global opportunities for new partnerships. Before joining Schiphol, Kjell was a member of the management team at Netherlands Airport Consultants (NACO), a consultancy and engineering firm specializing in designing future-proof airports.
