Mirjam de Boer-Postmus leaving as director of Asset Management at Schiphol

Mirjam de Boer-Postmus is leaving the position of director of Asset Management at Royal Schiphol Group. De Boer would like a position with ultimate responsibility, but did not see that space within Schiphol. She has therefore decided that it is time for something new.

Mirjam: ‘’I am proud of what I have achieved within and outside of ASM the past four years together with my colleagues. The new Main Contractors 2019 contracts with our strategic partners, the Intelligent Asset Control Center, the Long-Term Maintenance Plan (MJOP) and beautiful projects such as doubling Quebec taxiway, Upgrade Piers and maintenance of the Polderbaan.”

Hanne Buis, Chief Projects & Assets Officer (CPAO) at Royal Schiphol Group: “I thank Mirjam for the important contribution she has made to the development of Asset Management at Schiphol. Quality, sustainability and innovation have been at the heart of our strategy for several years now. Mirjam has integrated this well with her team within Asset Management. During the COVID-19 crisis, Mirjam used the peace and space to accelerate projects where possible. We are reaping the benefits now and we will continue to do so in the future.”

The process of finding a successor has begun. Announcements will be made as soon as there is more news.
