Negotiation results for the Schiphol Nederland B.V. Collective Labour Agreement April 2023 - September 2024

Schiphol has reached an agreement with unions VPS, FNV and CNV Publieke Diensten regarding the Schiphol Nederland B.V. Collective Labour Agreement (CLA). The CLA will take effect on 1 April 2023 and ends on 30 September 2024. With this agreement, Schiphol wants to provide its employees with timely clarity as regards financial perspective. The most important agreements are:

  • Wage increase. As of 1 April 2023, contractual wages will increase by 8% and then by 3.25% as of 1 January 2024.
  • Participation scheme. Schiphol's variable participation (profit-sharing) scheme will end as of 2023. This has been incorporated in the 8% wage increase as of 1 April 2023.
  • One-off bonus. Employees (and temporary employees) will receive a one-off bonus of €2000 gross (in proportion to their contract).
  • Thirteenth month. Schiphol has an end-of-year bonus of 6.75%. This will be increased to a full thirteenth month (8.33% of the annual salary).
  • Minimum of €14 per hour. As of 1 April 2023, the minimum of each salary scale will be at least €14 per hour.

These new agreements apply to employees of Schiphol Nederland B.V. That is currently about 2300 employees, including floor managers, apron office employees and office workers.

The exact agreements are laid out in the negotiation results. Schiphol will continue discussions with trade unions in early 2023 to reach a full negotiation agreement for the Schiphol Nederland B.V. CLA.
