Royal Schiphol Group issues public bond of 600 million euro for infrastructure investments
Royal Schiphol Group has issued a 600 million euro bond, to invest in the airport's infrastructure. The bond issue contributes to financial stability and is an important milestone to enable the execution of the large 6 billion euro investment plan. The bond is part of the Euro Medium Term Note (EMTN) programme, has a maturity of twelve years and carries an annual coupon of 3.375%.

Robust financials are fundamental and this transaction represents the first key step in securing the necessary funding for our investment plan.
The bonds were placed with a broad range of institutional investors. The final order book amounted to around 2.1 billion euro. The bonds will be listed on Euronext Amsterdam. ABN AMRO, BNP Paribas, NatWest Markets and Rabobank acted as joint bookrunners on the transaction.
Investment portfolio: 6 billion euro in 5 years
Schiphol plans to invest 6 billion euro in the next 5 years to improve the airport facilities, including maintenance and renovation of aviation infrastructure, renovations of passenger and employee facilities and implementing innovative ways to improve working conditions. Read more here.
