Schiphol Fund awards €118,000 in the region

Two Schiphol Fund board members have awarded more than €118.000 to organisations active in the field of sport and movement in the Amsterdam Airport Schiphol region. 

Simone Boitelle, director of Corporate Affairs at Royal Schiphol Group, and the Schiphol Fund treasurer received a cheque for €10.000 for the fund at this meeting. It was presented by a delegation of four facility management companies (Gom, Vebego, Victoria and Asito). 

It was the first Schiphol Fund award ceremony of 2025, which will see a total of four awards. Donations were presented to 25 (sports) organisations. The top amount of €10.000 was presented to Speeltuin Sloten of Amsterdam, who will be purchasing a new climbing pyramid. 

Last year, a total of 82 sports clubs and associations received a donation from the Schiphol Fund. 

About the Schiphol Fund 

The Schiphol Fund was set up in 1994 at the initiative of Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and with the aim of demonstrating the airport's social commitment to the local community. Every year the Schiphol Fund receives a donation from the airport and supports projects related to physical activity and sport.
