Schiphol's digital transformation honoured with Computable Award

Digital Airport Programme wins with 34,5% of the votes

Royal Schiphol Group's Digital Airport Programme has won the 2018 Computable Award in the category 'ICT Project of the Year in a Major Corporation'. The jury was greatly impressed by the results that the airport has managed to achieve in a short period of time, noting Schiphol's implementation of innovative technologies in combination with a people-oriented approach to this implementation using its own personnel.

Henk Jan Gerzee, CDO of Royal Schiphol Group: 'It gives me great pride to accept this award. Through smart digital solutions, we aim to improve the passenger experience, make our processes more effective and make our buildings and assets smarter in order to optimise their use. We hope to achieve this by working closely with our partners who fly into and out of Schiphol, so that they can optimise their role in the process as well. This award is confirmation that we are heading in the right direction.'
