Traffic and transport figures for February 2025

Summary

4.7 million passengers flew to, from or via Schiphol in February 2025. It is an increase of 1% compared to 2024. Most passengers flew to the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, Turkey and the United States. The number of flights to and from Schiphol was 34.342. That is a decrease of 2% compared to 2024.

Amount of passengers 
In February 2025, 4.7 million passengers flew to, from or via Schiphol. 2.8 million departed from or arrived at Schiphol, and 1.9 million transferred at the airport. There were approximately 900,000 transfer passengers, who are counted twice in accordance with the international counting method: once as an arriving passenger and once as a departing passenger.

Most popular destinations 
Almost 3.3 million passengers arrived from or flew to a destination in Europe. 1.4 million passengers arrived from or flew to an intercontinental destination outside Europe. The United Kingdom was the most popular destination, followed by Spain, Italy, Turkey and the United States.

Flights 
The number of flights to and from Schiphol was 34.342 in February 2025. This is a decrease of 2% compared to 2024. Of these flights, 27.706 went to European destinations and 6.636 to intercontinental destinations.

Cargo 
The number of all-cargo flights was 7% lower compared to February 2024. There were 1,239 cargo flights in February 2025, compared to 1,333 cargo flights in 2024. The total transported volume for February 2025 is incomplete. The estimate is that there is a slight decrease compared to 2024 (121,853).
