Winter timetable in effect

New Schiphol Timetable on www.schiphol.nl

Schiphol’s new winter timetable took effect on Sunday, 28 October. The new Schiphol Timetable contains all scheduled-flight destinations with direct passenger boarding at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. The winter schedule is effective from Sunday, 28 October 2012 through Saturday, 30 March 2013.

New destinations for Schiphol

The network of destinations has been expanded for this winter with eight new destinations. KLM will fly three weekly services to the Zimbabwean capital of Harare. Schiphol is also pleased to welcome new airline Blue Islands, which operates three weekly flights to the Channel Islands. Transavia.com has also added new destinations, with Chambéry in France, Erbil in Iraq, and Kuusamo and Rovaniemi in Finland, while Corendon Airlines has added Bourgas in Bulgaria and Gazipasa in Turkey.

More frequent flights

This winter will also see more flights to a number of existing destinations thanks to the launch of new routes by airlines already operating at Schiphol, namely: Air Arabia Maroc to Casablanca, easyJet to Newcastle, Flybe.com to Birmingham and Nottingham, and transavia.com to Dubai and Sal. Eurolot has been operating more flights to Gdansk and Krakow since the summer.

KLM will also be operating more flights on existing European and intercontinental routes.
