Henry van der Geest leaving as Director of Finance at Schiphol

Katie Slipper is his successor

Summary

Henry van der Geest is leaving as Director of Finance at Royal Schiphol Group. He has held this position since 1 February 2016. The decision to leave was made in good consultation.

Henry: "I'm proud of what I have achieved with my colleagues over the years. Schiphol is a great company in a dynamic location, and I have been lucky enough to work here. It's time for a change; a new adventure with new energy. I will be continuing my journey at another, as yet unknown, destination."

Henry will be succeeded by Katie Slipper, who is currently in the position of Director of Risk and Audit at Schiphol. The process of finding her successor has begun.

Robert Carsouw, CFO at Royal Schiphol Group: "I thank Henry for his hard work and commitment at Schiphol over the years. He has led the Finance department to another level and helped bring Project Reset, necessary due to the impact of coronavirus, to a successful conclusion. At the same time, I'm glad to have Katie Slipper as a successor who can get to work right away. I have every faith in a smooth transition and wish Katie the best of luck in her new role."
