New structure within Royal Schiphol Group's Executive Team

As of 1 February, Schiphol's Executive Team will change part of its management structure. With this adjusted structure, Schiphol is taking an important step in further adjusting, logically arranging and bringing together activities and responsibilities. A first step in this was already taken at the beginning of last year with the formation of the Executive Team.

What will change from 1 February is that the Security and Safety & Environment departments will report to the Executive Director Schiphol Operations, Patricia Vitalis. For the Projects and Programme Development departments (now part of Strategy and Airport Planning), this will be shifted to the Executive Director Schiphol Infrastructure, Sybren Hahn. Currently, these departments still report directly to the CEO.

With this adjustment, the Executive Team (ET) aims to further improve the mutual cooperation and ensure robust management. This does not mean adjusting organizational units. It also does not affect the statutory final responsibility of the DT as currently formed by Ruud Sondag (CEO) and Robert Carsouw (CFO).
